Use :
Vacuum pumps are used to keep parts under vacuum during various operations, including machining, packaging, etc. Its robust design allows it to be used 24 hours a day in industrial applications. The pump has an oil return system, with float valve from the discharge filter housing to the inlet flange, to ensure that the pump can operate optimally in all vacuum levels. Due to its reliability, the pump is often used in applications such as:
- Vacuum packaging
- Plastic industry
- Wood industry
- Food technology
- Pneumatic transport
Principle of operation:
Lubricated vacuum pump works according to the rotating vane principle. Rotor is positioned eccentrically within the pump cylinder and has machined slots for the sliding vanes. The centrifugal force of rotation pushes the vanes out of these slots toward the cylinder wall. Gas enters the vacuum pump inlet then passes through a built-in anti-suction valve, which prevents the pump from rotating backwards and into the cylinder. The gas is compressed and pushed through the exhaust. Oil is supplied steadily to the cylinder from the oil pan to provide sealing and lubrication.
Features :
The LEV series pumps are single-stage, air-cooled, direct-drive (no belts) oil recirculating pumps. They are compact, reliable and easy to maintain and use. With the integrated exhaust filtration unit, the exhaust air is 99.9% oil-free. Good tolerance to water vapor.
